Well, although it really doesn’t come as a surprise to anyone, here’s the news: The Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry’s Maine Ag Trade Show will be held online this year due to pandemic precautions. The five-day show, running from Jan 19 to Jan 23, will still have presentations, but they will be all virtual.
To access the event, you can tune into the live stream via the Whova Event app. You can also check it out via the Dept of Agriculture’s Youtube channel and Facebook page.
Yes, there will also be exhibitors at the event.
I suppose, if there’s one good thing about attending an ag show online, it’s that you don’t have to look for parking.
I plan on attending, and I hope you do, too. It’s never too early to start planning for the backyard planting season! This year, I’m planning on a record-setting pumpkin patch!
